“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” Heartbroken to share that it was confirmed this morning that I have suffered a season ending ACL tear and some ligament damage in my left knee. While I’m devastated I will no longer able to be on the court with my best friends this year, I have faith that I will be able to come back more resilient, determined, and stronger than ever. While I didn’t imagine the start of the season going this way, I am so confident that God has a plan and I wholeheartedly trust in Him and His timing. I am so grateful to be a Longhorn and be surrounded by such incredible people everyday. This team is truly special, and I’m so looking forward to cheering on my girls this season!
